Biography
My name is Alonzo Chapa and I have been married to my wife, Leonor Chapa, for twenty seven years. We have three adult children, Gabriela, Esteban and Eduardo. My daughter is a registered nurse, and my two sons are both attending the University of Texas in San Antonio. My wife and I are also proud grandparents of two beautiful grandchildren, Analynn Rose and Caeli Maribel who is only 2 months old.
I attended the University of Houston and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. I also attended Laredo State University and received a Bilingual Teaching Certificate from the State of Texas. I am a retired school teacher but I am presently employed as a legal assistant for Attorney Clarissa Fernandez Pratt. Working as a teacher was very rewarding because I was able to help students reach their academic potentials. Similarly, I am now also helping people resolve their legal problems as a legal assistant. The attorney helps bring closure to her client’s legal issues giving them peace of mind and I am thankful to be a part of that journey.
